I Care Program

Started January 2018

Our Mission

To engage in community development activities that address underserved rural & urban communities, low-income housing, economic development and to encourage skill education.

Our Vision

Is to elevate community growth by creating self-sustaining resource centers for entrepreneurship, affordable housing and management through real estate development. Our primary vision is to stabilize and revitalize local communities.

Core Values

Community Progressive Development believes leadership and human services builds faith through persistence. In the Town of Victoria, we are defined less by boundaries on a map than by the sense of shared values our residents hold dear. Small town values, guided growth, preservation of historical, cultural, and natural heritage just a few of the core principles that makes the Town of Victoria a wonderful place to call home.

Service Demographics

The I Care Program serves the state of Virginia with a focus of elderly individuals ages 62 and older in the Lunenburg county area. The median age is 41.1 years, 3.2 years more than the national median age of 37.9 years. An estimated 19.80% of the population is 65 years and over, compared to 15.2% of the U.S. population.

Program Purpose

To build a STEM program designed to provide home modifications for the elderly taught by professional service providers to certify and enhance the skill learning capacity of local community volunteers and create economic development.
